The most eagerly awaited Harley Davidson in recent memory will be released in less than a month. The official release of the Harley Davidson X440 roadster is set for July 3 and the production will take place in India in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp.
Harley Davidson X440 Power
This new Harley will be driven by a 440cc engine. In contrast, to the X350 and X500, which both feature twin-cylinder engines and were recently unveiled in foreign markets, the X440 will only have one cylinder.
Because of its air-cooled design, this will be the Milwaukee giant’s first modern single-cylinder mill. It’s possible to get up to 40Nm of torque from this motor, that is relatively easy. The chain drive is the final drive.
Harley Davidson X440 Design
The chassis is unremarkable, consisting of the standard tubular steel frame. The bike features MRF tires front wheel is 18 inches in diameter, while the back wheel is 17 inches in diameter, giving it a strong and confident presence.
The X 440’s flat handlebar design makes it look more like Harley’s vintage XR roadsters than the company’s signature cruisers. This machine’s dynamics remain a mystery, but its cornering clearance appears to be fairly generous.
Harley Davidson X440 Features
With a single disc brake up front and one at the rear and a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS), this motorcycle has a unique suspension design. The round headlight will likely be an LED unit, and it already features a DRL bar across the middle. Overall, the motorcycle appears to have a premium build and the fit levels appear to be quite good.
The round indicators also feature some neat detailing, with Harley logos at the center. Evidence of this can be found in places like the engine’s polished cooling fins and the various fasteners located throughout the motorcycle. The pod-shaped digital instrumentation will have no moving parts. Bluetooth support will likely be included as well.
Harley Davidson X440 Launch Date
The Harley will be more expensive than the more basic, air-cooled RE Classic 350. Although it will be released after the X440 on July 5, it is expected to be slightly less expensive than the more high-tech liquid-cooled Bajaj Triumph models that will be unveiled on June 27 and go on sale the following week.
Harley Davidson X440 Price
From what we can tell, the Harley-Davidson X440 will be released on July 3 with a price tag of between Rs 2.5 lakh to 3 lakhs (ex-showroom). Maybe there will be two variants with fewer features.
